  Safety Tips for the Summer

The summer months signal the return of insects, heat, and other haszards thatincrease the risk of injury to those performing outside work.

The following links could prove useful in preventing injuries and illness associated with outdoor work and activities during the summer months. Whether working around the Campus or around the home, exposure to the sun, flying and stinging insects, and powered equipment can be harmful and sometimes disabling.

Take a few minutes to read through these documents or visit the PFD safety bulletin board. Share this information with fellow employees and make it a topic of discussion at your next shop meeting.
