Off Campus Recycling
Houses:
Recycling is included in your garbage collection service!!!
Request a bin from your trash service provider by calling 524-5221.
Apartments:
Unless your landlord decides to bring in recycling bins, you will have
to save up your recyclables and bring them to one of three collections
points (DON'T LET A LITTLE EXTRA WORK STOP YOU, THOUGH!!)
- Dittmer Parking Lot (located by the campus Police Station on Rt. 73) - 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
- Walmart Parking Lot - every 1st Saturday from 9-1
- Cook Field - every 3rd Saturday from 9-1
Fraternities:
You are considered 'incorporated' by Rumpke even though technically you
live in a house, so you will have to either pay extra for a separate recycling
collection service, or you can bring your recyclables to the three locations
listed above. (Again, don't let a little extra work stop you from doing the
right thing - bring in your recyclables and we will do the rest!)
**The Recycling Office can assist you in obtaining reasonably priced indoor
recycling containers if you are interested in starting your own program. Call us
at 529-9564 - we would especially like to encourage you to incorporate recycling
into your parties and pre-game celebrations.
