The Facilities Resource Center is located in 113 Cole Service Building. We are located at the far
East end of Cook Field, just off SR 73 to the South.

A few visitor parking spaces are available directly in front of the Cole Service Building. These spaces are for Physical Facilities visitors only!

The Facilities Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Current project building drawings and project drawings, specifications and project materials are housed in the Facilities Resource Center. Information, also included in this area are original, construction and as-built drawings, renovations and rehabilitations, systems upgrades, walks and drives, grounds and utilities improvements.

Other documentation found here are Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Geotechnical Reports, Air Balance Testing Data, and other project related reports.

Some historical information, such as "Raised Buildings" is housed off site, but can be retrieved if necessary. Arrangements for these materials should be made in advance or your visit.

All historical renderings are stored in the University Archives. Arrangements can be made through the Facilities Resource Center to access these.

The Facilities Resource Center provides services in the following areas:

• Field Verification of Buildings and Utilities

Services offered to faculty and staff:

• Small copy orders of prints or other related materials
• Prints of Ortho-digital maps
• Building floor plans and information on Academic and Residence Hall buildings on campus
• Plans review area for active projects as well as notification to interested parties when these drawings are available for review

Service offered to outside consultants (architects, engineers, contractors)

• Password access to drawings and other information stored electronically (coming in 2002)
• Historical information on original construction, renovations, rehabs, etc.
• Electronic site plans and drawings (upon request)

These requests are to be coordinated with the Miami University Project Manager.

Services offered to students:
Students must request the information by a letter or e-mail from his/her professor to Rosalie Ross (rossr@muohio.edu) stating the student's name, course number and name, instructor's name and how this information will be used.

Most requests can be filled within the same business day. Larger requests may take longer.

Due to the sensitive nature of the information, such as utilities, mechanical rooms, electrical systems, and some buildings these will be made available through special requests only.

Construction Drawings
• Sets of drawings and specifications to contractors AFTER a contract has been awarded and Pre-Construction meetings have been held. Arrangements need to be made with the Project Manager.
