What does Building Services NOT clean?
Building Services does not clean phones, computers,
copy
machines, fire extinguishers, floors or desks
with papers or projects
strewn or personal items. We also do
not water plants.
What if I need special cleaning for an upcoming event?

Who is the housekeeping manager for the custodial staff in
my
building?
Our organizational chart is displayed on the
Building Services web
page. Reporting to the director of Building
& Special Services, there
are three senior manager and six housekeeping
managers. Each
housekeeping manager maintains on average
nine non-residential
state buildings. Please see the Building Services
organizational table
for a list of all buildings we maintain
and the housekeeping manager
assigned.
What if I have a compliment, complaint or concern for
service?
Monday through Friday between 5:00a.m. and
midnight, one can
call the Building Services department at 529-7267.
Another option
is to e-mail the Housekeeping manager through
the department
directory. Also, one can directly leave a
special request or comment
to your Building Service Worker by writing
you message on the
Action/Response List clipboard.These clipboards
are located in
each main department office and are read daily
by the Building
Service Worker. Also, one could fill out the
TMA concern form

for
Employee/Team of the Month?

Special Operations to schedule a meeting.

Who
can I contact about snow and ice removal from building
entrances?
Monday through Friday between 5:00a.m. and
midnight, one can
call the Building Services department at 529-7267.
At any other
time and on the weekends, one can call the
University Police at
529-2222 who will then contact the appropriate
crew.
For issues with sidewalks, drives and parking
lots, contact the
Physical Facilities Grounds Department at
529-6786.
Who do I call if I am locked out of a classroom or office?
In the event that a scheduled classroom is
locked, it can be
unlocked by calling Building Services at 529-7005.
Those seeking
access to offices during regular business
hours should direct their
requests to the department office or the building
point of contact. In
the event that they are unable to provide
access, one should contact
the University Police at 529-2222.
